The 9th of August is a public holiday known as ‘National Women’s Day’ in South Africa.
The Agenda Women Summit was conceptualized as a platform that allows women from diverse backgrounds to come together for a cause larger than their individual ambitions, successes, and aspirations. Under the theme ‘We Are Every Women’, Agenda Women aims to create an opportunity for women who have achieved success in different areas of their lives to share what tools and tactics have helped this process materialize.
This year’s theme is, “We Are Every Women” – an affirmation statement focusing on and inspired by the need for women to recognize their similarities and celebrate the differences that make them unique.
Conversations at this years summit will be empowering and diverse held by both women and men alike.
Mushambi will be participating in their very first all-male panel called “I AM A FEMINIST.”
More men are needed form part of the women empowerment conversation, creating a healthy and constructive dialogue, exchanging ideas on feminism and the social state of women.
